Judge Katherine Polk Failla of the Southern District of New York has denied Tornado Cash inventor Roman Storm’s request to dismiss the felonious charges against him. Storm is charged with three counts, including conspiracy to commit plutocrat laundering and violating transnational warrants. The judge rejected Storm’s arguments that she was exercising freedom of speech and did n't know her conduct were illegal. The court also ruled that the functionality of the law was n't defended by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
