The hacker who stole over $235 million from Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX recently transferred $6.5 million of the stolen funds via banned cryptocurrency mixer Tornado Cash.According to Cyvers, a blockchain security platform, the hacker conducted 26 separate transactions, transferring 2,600 Ethereum (ETH) to Tornado Cash.Meanwhile, Vazirx exchange announced that it will allow users to withdraw up to 66% of their balance. The exchange is also implementing a phased plan to restore normal financial operations following the $235 million hack on July 18. Noting that there are still legal issues surrounding cryptocurrency withdrawals, Wazirx exchange is taking legal action in Singapore, which it has chosen as the location for its legal restructuring process.
