Sony’s blockchain subsidiary has launched the Minato testnet for its Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain Soneium. This exercise was carried out in parallel with a growth plan to attract developers. Minato provides a development environment that simulates real-world network conditions to support high-volume applications. The Astar network will also cooperate in this test phase by providing initial liquidity and various digital assets. Sony hopes to use the Soneium Spark program to increase interest and growth in its network. Developers can receive up to $100,000 in investments and benefit from collaboration opportunities with industrial companies. Companies such as Circle, Optimism, Alchemy, The Graph, and Chainlink will also support this program.
