Shiba Inu (SHIB), the popular meme coin on the market, is planning to launch a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) to achieve its goal of decentralization. LUCIE, Shibarium’s marketing strategist, revealed that this transition will allow all token holders, regardless of their stake, to participate in community decision-making. Two key councils will be created to lead community initiatives: the Charities Council and the Culture and Heritage Council. Additionally, the anonymous Shiba Ino developers announced that they will be completely withdrawing from the project by the end of 2024 and handing over full control to the user community. They emphasized that this move is in line with the vision of true decentralization in the digital currency space and that they have no intention of abandoning the project. The developers also announced that they would not reveal their identities as they believe the strength of this digital currency comes from its dedicated community rather than specific individuals.
