Cryptocurrency analyst and trader Jason Pizzino has given his predictions for altcoins in the coming months. Expect altcoin prices to surge in the fourth quarter of this year, coinciding with or after the November 5 U.S. presidential election. Pizzino believes that Tether’s (USDT) market cap percentage has reached a record high compared to other cryptocurrencies. This shows that market participants are using their stablecoins to buy more cryptocurrencies. He predicts that Tether’s dominance in the cryptocurrency market will decrease to around 1 percent. This value currently stands at 5.8 percent. Regarding Ethereum (ETH), Pizzino says that the cryptocurrency is doing well after breaking through key resistance. He adds that in the long term, a close above $2,900 is crucial for Ethereum’s uptrend.
