The official servers of the Avalanche Discord network and the ZKsync blockchain layer 2 were hacked less than 48 hours after the Polygon Discord attack. In a post on Platform X, Avalanche announced that its Discord server had been hacked and asked users not to open links. The hackers posted fake links to free AVAX token incentive programs. The Avalanche team announced that the issue has been resolved. An hour later, ZDK’s Discord was also hacked and hackers posted fake airdrop links to obtain tokens from that network. The attacks occurred less than 48 hours after the Polygon Discord hack, which resulted in a user losing $150,000 in Ethereum. The latest attacks join a growing list of Discord-like attacks, including a phishing scam on the Arbitrum server in March 2023 and an attack on the artificial intelligence network Gnus.AI in May that resulted in a loss of $1.27 million.
