Former FTX Manager Withdraws Complaint

Former FTX CEO Ryan Salame has withdrawn his previous complaint accusing the U.S.

The government was accused of breaking its promise not to prosecute his partner, but a hearing before a judge in the case is still scheduled.Salameh, who previously pleaded guilty to charges of illegal political contributions and wire fraud, has claimed that he cooperated with the government to prevent further investigations into the mother of his son, Michelle Bond. Recently, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York filed a complaint against Bond. Salameh’s lawyers have claimed that the government used the negotiations to threaten the gang and force Salameh to confess. However, the prosecution has called the charge patently false. Although Salameh withdrew his complaint, he insisted that his statements were accurate. Judge Luis E. Kaplan set the hearing for September 12 and ruled that Salameh’s presence was essential.
