Celsius Has Paid Two-Thirds of Its Debts to Creditors

Insolvent digital currency lender Celsius has completed the payment of two-thirds of its creditors despite the difficulties of the distribution process. As of August, Celsius had successfully distributed more than $2.5 billion in authorized value to creditors, according to the initial report of the repayment plan administrator. This distribution plan involves approximately 375,000 creditors in more than 165 different countries, which has added to the complexity of the process. As of January 31 of this year, Celsius had successfully paid 251,000 creditors, which represents approximately two-thirds of the total eligible creditors and approximately 93% of the eligible amount. However, approximately 121,000 creditors remain eligible, most with very small payments.
